Lee Richardson Zoo in Garden City, Kansas, is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is home to hundreds of native and exotic animals. The Zoo features over fifty beautifully landscaped acres, spacious animal habitats, walking paths, playgrounds, picnic areas, and shady avenues for guests of all ages to enjoy.

One of our goals is the conservation of the world’s rare and endangered species.

Our unique Zoo is open year-round, free to pedestrians, and vehicles may drive through for just $10.

The Zoo’s Conservation Awareness Team provides a variety of programs (many free of charge) on-site, off-site, and through video conferencing technology. Summer camps, classroom presentations, and special events are just a few ways we share our love of wildlife with others.
