The Safari Shoppe
The Zoo's gift shop is known as the Safari Shoppe and is operated by the Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo.
Currently open from 10 am to 7 pm Friday through Monday.
Enjoy a refreshing drink and snack, pick up some Zoo swag, unique gift items, and much more!
Safari Cycle, Scooter Pal rentals are available seasonally.

The Wild Dog Stop, Conservation Carousel, Richardson Riverbed Mining,
& Richardson Railroad
Also operated by the Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo, stop by the Wild Dog Stop located near Cat Canyon for a tasty treat or to purchase tickets to ride the Richardson Railroad and Conservation Carousel!

Drive - Thru Entry
Lee Richardson Zoo offers guests a unique opportunity to drive through the Zoo!
Drive-thru day passes are $10 per vehicle.
Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo members drive through for free!
The entrance is located east of the pedestrian entrance on 4th street. Pay admission to one of our friendly gate attendants!
Seasonal Schedule:
April 1st to Labor Day - 8 am to 6 pm
After Labor Day to October 31st - 8 am to 4 pm
November 1st to March 31st - 10 am to 4 pm
Wild Wednesdays:
The drive-thru is free for all guests on the following Wednesdays:
November to March - Every Wednesdsay
April to November - Every First Wednesday of the Month

Guided Tours & Programs
Guided walking tours are available for groups of ten or more, two weeks advanced notice required. These tours are led by Zoo Staff and Volunteers who are intimately familiar with the zoo.

Available for groups of ten or more, two weeks advanced notice required. Choose from per-designed programs or build your own alongside our staff.
