Sensory Accessibility

This page includes a sensory map of the zoo and three visual narrative guides.

The sensory map has icons placed in areas where guests may experience tactile or interactive items, discover new smells, hear new or loud sounds, quiet spaces,

and places where there is plenty of room to stretch or run.

The zoo has been separated into 3 main areas for the visual narrative guides.

Each guide gives a preview of what a guest may experience during their zoo visit.

For more information or for further assistance,

please call the zoo's main office at 620-276-1250.
